The Concord Bookshop is a cozy and classic New England shop, which feels like a staple of the town center. When entering, you have a sightline in every direction toward many adventures to be had. My favorite aspect of the shop is the incredible variety of books. No matter what you may be looking for, they seem to have it! They also feature a dense puzzle selection and a playful children’s area with seating to accommodate a quick read or two!

There were a number of places to find out more about suggested books throughout the shop. On the ends of shelves were staff-recommended books with lengthy write-ups to help a reader know if the book was suitable to their interests. I loved how most of these books were ones that I hadn’t heard of, which made it a fun experience to find a new author to explore. They also had “Great Reads” as well as a featured author of the month on display. The provided bookmark carries the classic design with the old school-style logo and Cicero quote!
