Borzoi Bookshop is nestled in the small, picturesque town of Stow-on-the-Wold. It has a cave-like feeling as you emerge from the end of the street to see the little shop implanted in the stone façade. One inside, you get a colorful and cheery shop with a little dog stationed behind the checkout desk. Much of the back of the shop is dedicated to kid’s books, and there are other gifts/trinkets available for purchase along with the other books. My favorite part of the shop was the entrance, as you really don’t know what to expect from the name (which is apparently from the original owners’ Borzoi dogs) and hidden location.
Additional Information
By the checkout, there was a place to explore the many employees’ book recommendations. The bookmarks include information about all the shop offers and several ways to get in touch with the shop through socials. We really enjoyed getting the opportunity to visit this shop as part of a Cotswolds bus tour, and definitely think you should check it out as well!
