Posman Books - On Newbury Street, tucked away among the fancy stores, is a colorful and charming bookstore. The bright yellow and green lettering lures you in, and once inside, it is difficult not to want to spend hours there! The shop is open and bright, and although stuffed to the brim with books and gifts, incredibly easy to navigate. Large tables and shelves are filled with books of every genre, including a young adult section.

All the way in back is a cozy children's section, which includes a wide array of progressive books. They also had stuffed animals for any age, including Jellycat stuffies - adorably stuffed foods, animals, and objects with tiny legs - sitting on shelves around the shop. In addition to books, I found an impressive number of gift options: bookmarks, calendars, magnets, tea, and a whole table covered in different puzzles.

The shop also has an amazing selection of fun and creative greeting cards. Just when I thought I had found the perfect card, I would turn around and find even more! The staff there were incredibly friendly and shared that the store had been open for about three years. The shop is family-owned, rooted in a love of books, and they have opened shops in a few other cities. While strolling Newbury Street, make sure to peek inside this cheerful bookshop.
