Jabberwocky Bookshop is a booklovers paradise that from the outside seems like a regular sized shop. When you open the doors, you will be treated to a somewhat top down view of the scale that still leaves many nooks, lofts, and treasures to be explored. It’s hard to put into words the exact feeling that a place surrounded by books makes you feel, but this one will certainly be one to spend some time in. I truly didn’t even make to the cafe beyond the checkout, as I had already spent so much time going through the many sections. For a space so grand, they do well to line the walls and various sections in a way that doesn’t feel overbearing or claustrophobic.

Favorite Aspect:

The kids and YA section that lives up the stairs from the main space is a nice “treehouse” type space that separates out the different age groups in a useful and logical way, while also providing views of the shop below. It was truly a treat to take in all the shop had to offer from the different vantage points including the kids section. We very much enjoyed spending an hour or so getting just a taste of what Jabberwocky had to offer!
