Word On The Water - The London Bookbarge

Word on the Water is a very unique and unexpected bookshop sitting in the Regent’s Canal by King’s Cross. This was certainly the first bookshop or “bookbarge” I had visited, and while it won’t take you long to peruse, the experience was well worth it! They have a variety of titles and genres throughout the space on nearly all of the usable shelving. The best aspect of the shop was just boarding the barge, knowing that this would be unlike any other. The familiarity of the old wood/ book scent was still ever-present as you stepped below deck, making you feel a homely vibe mixed with a new adventure!
