White Whale Bookstore

Bookshop.Love: White Whale Bookstore is an absolutely stunning and multi-space shop that features an abundance of recommendations throughout along with beautiful art to go along with the under the sea, whale theme. Inside the first space you are greeted with light and numerous genres carefully laid out with a cute kid’s reading area towards the back. The shop worker was enthusiastic and helped us find new books with additional tips for a very smelly scratch-and-sniff book (thanks for the hand sanitizer!) To the right, you will find a coffee shop that also serves alcoholic beverages, which accompany more books, gifts, and merchandise. This is truly a shop you could spend a while exploring, as the amenities and service were top notch, and of course, the books certainly didn’t disappoint!
Favorite Aspect:
VS: The bookstore was delightful. I loved checking out the customer handwritten reviews throughout the sections. My especial favorite were the children’s handwritten reviews, which were such a unique, fun touch and so helpful when trying to find great book options for my son! The children’s section was full of a unique variety of books, it was hard to choose just one! I definitely plan on stopping back next time I am in the area to not only get another book but grab a beer while I’m at it.
